Yate Town have been given a boost as they go into the summer break with the news that manager, Darren Mullings has agreed a new deal with the Pitching In Southern League Premier South club until the end of the 2027/28 season.
They were able to secure a 13th place finish in 2025/26 on the back of winning the Division One South title at the end of the previous campaign under Mullings’ guidance.
“I am delighted to have been able to agree this contract extension,” said Mullings. “The club has made such significant progress over the past two and-a-half years and it’s something that everyone involved can be extremely proud of.
“Winning the title was a special achievement and then retaining our status at the higher level was equally important and should not be under-estimated.
“I am grateful for the continued backing and support that I have received from the club. It has been invaluable and has allowed us to build stability and move the club forward both on and off the pitch.
“The backing that we have received from the fans has been equally important and it means so much to me and the players.
“The hard work continues as we prepare for the hard work that lies ahead.”
